I Never Was

So many of us get stuck in a cycle of weighing our own achievements against the accomplishments of others. We break free, remembering that life is best lived without fear, only to tangle ourselves up in comparison and start the cycle again. “I Never Was” is a song that focuses on conflicting feelings of self-worth and reminds us that the answers to our questions usually lie somewhere in the middle.
